Reims Euro-American Campus is seventh international campus of Sciences Po Paris. Opened in September 2010, it welcomes students from around the world, including USA, Canada, and throughout Europe in an English environment.
The curriculum aims to provide students with a comparative understanding of the European and North American systems through a rigorous teaching of five core subjects delivered by an international faculty: Economics, History, Law, Political Science, and Sociology.
Lectures and seminars are taught in English, though some are available in French. Language courses are given on a weekly basis in order to bolster the students’ command of the English and French languages to as great an extent possible by the end of their second year. German and Spanish are offered as well.
Students get there a unique opportunity to experience a synthesis between both the European and American approach, integrated –in a balanced way- within the specific Sciences Po educational model (intellectually challenging, comparative and multidisciplinary content of the lectures, methodology with a special emphasis on oral presentation and efficient argumentation, teamwork, interactive exchanges).
Sports, artistic activities and community life are given great importance.
The campus is centrally located on the site of the Old Jesuit College, an exceptional 17th century setting bestowed upon Sciences Po by the city of Reims. The capital city of Champagne-Ardenne is just 45 mn from Paris and 30 mn from Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport by high-speed train (TGV) and offers easy access to the rest of Europe.
