Welcome

Located 45 minutes by high-speed rail from Paris, Reims, a Gallo-Roman city and the traditional site of the coronation of France’s kings, has a rich architectural legacy. It is the capital of the Champagne-Ardenne region, world-renowned for its production of champagne. What you will find at the Euro-american Campus in Reims:

  • A three-year undergraduate (Bachelor of Arts) program, the third year of which must be spent abroad
  • An area studies focus: transatlantic relations
  • Individually-tailored student services
  • A bilingual student body

Due to expansion works, the Sciences Po campus is no longer accessible from Place Museux.

You can now access the campus via rue Eugène Wiet (see map).

New: A tailor-made exchange offer on our Reims campus!

As part of our regular exchange program, starting Fall 2014 Sciences Po will welcome a limited number of students to an exchange on its Reims campus (50 spots for Fall 2014, 100 spots for Spring 2015)! This certificate-awarding exchange has been specifically designed for international students and will present them with unique opportunities unlike any available on our campus in Paris.

Information in the curriculum is now available as well as a list of courses in offer in the three academic majors international Affaires & Strategy, European Affairs and business & Economics: Academic program information

Benefits of the Reims exchange program

  • Students will be offered tailor-made courses and will choose one of three majors: International Affairs & Strategy, European Affairs and Business & Economics. They will be awarded a “Certificate in Social Sciences and Humanities” upon successful completion of their semester.
  • Exchange students in Reims will have the opportunity to participate in intensive French-language courses and workshops, unlike Paris exchange whose French classes meet only once a week. This will present students with the opportunity to make significant improvements in their language ability over a short period of time.
  • The language of instruction for social sciences courses in Reims is English, so there is no minimum French language requirement and beginners are welcome! For those who wish, some social science courses will also be available in French.
  • For students majoring in Business & Economics and who wish to stay two semesters in France and obtain professional experience abroad, internship opportunities will be available on a competitive basis during the second semester. For these students, French B2 level is required
  • Students will take part in a field trip in Europe at the end of the semester.

Advantages of studying in Reims

  • Students will study on our Reims campus, which aims to provide a small liberal arts school environment. This is a campus in the true sense of the word, a center of student life and activity surrounded by green spaces, located on the site of a former Jesuit college and monastery dating from the 17th century.
  • Reims is the main city of the Champagne-Ardenne region, world renowned for its champagne vineyards. This medium-sized city is located just 45 minutes from Paris by train, close enough for day trips! For those who like to travel, Charles de Gaulle International Airport is located just 30 minutes away by train, great for weekend city breaks in Europe.
  • Student life on campus is especially lively and the student population is very international. Campus clubs and associations organize fieldtrips in France and in the rest of Europe frequently.
  • Housing is widely available and guaranteed for students, unlike in Paris. This means that housing will already be reserved for students before their arrival. Rent in Reims costs much less than in the capital as well: for example, a studio at a student residence costs only €300 per month, versus €600 and upwards for a studio in Paris.

New Dual Bachelor Program Between Sciences Po and the University of British Columbia, CANADA

International mobility and an overseas experience are invaluable assets for all young graduates starting a career—assets students acquire in the new Dual Bachelor of Arts (“BA”) collaboratively delivered by the Faculty of Arts of UBC and the College Universitaire at Sciences Po.

Undergraduate students enrolled in this intensive, transatlantic Dual BA program take their first two years of study at Sciences Po at one of its English speaking campuses (Reims, Le Havre, Menton), and then re-locate to UBC’s Faculty of Arts in Vancouver for two years of study.

The Dual BA’s first students begin their studies in France in September 2013.
